Job Overview

We are seeking a strategic, hands-on and people-focused Pool Maintenance Supervisor to lead our growing pool service operations in Roswell, GA. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this role is responsible for assisting with overall performance of the branch, including daily field operations, technician leadership, customer satisfaction, financial performance and continued market growth.

The Pool Maintenance Supervisor will maintain a strong presence in the field, providing hands-on coaching, conducting quality inspections, troubleshooting service issues and supporting technicians with day-to-day challenges. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced pool professional who is ready to take the next step into leadership while remaining actively involved in field operations.

Responsibilities
  • Greet fellow employees as they arrive and speak with them to determine goals and tasks for them to complete daily.

  • Perform twice daily 1:1 meetings with their group of technicians.

  • Develop an “ownership” mentality of their technician’s maintenance accounts.

  • Responsible for the satisfaction and growth of their customer base.

  • Provide support to Pool Maintenance Technicians by teaching/coaching them on the specifics of their job duties, troubleshooting problems and sharing the importance of safety.

  • Meet with new and old technicians for further training, mentoring and quality control.

  • Report performance records and evaluations to HR and General Manager.

  • Perform Spot checks on pools to evaluate the performance of technicians using metrics such as cleanliness of pool/equipment area, water chemistry and timecards.

  • Oversee maintenance tasks, monitor the progress of current services, and supervise team members to ensure the company’s objectives are met.

  • Conduct pool service quotes for potential residential service customers, in conjunction with the Branch Manager.

  • Meet technicians on site during the first maintenance visit for new customers to orient the tech

  • Make an introduction to the homeowner (if homeowner is in residence) and complete the First Stop Checklist.

  • Provide “Pool School” to customers when required.

  • Perform algae checkbacks/technician follow-ups, start-up for new pool maintenance, diagnose and make small repairs.

  • Handle customer complaints or concerns quickly and professionally to maintain good customer relationships.

  • Oversee the opening and closing of Yummy Pools daily operations.

  • Complete open tasks entered in The Service Program (TSP) program.

  • Inspect trucks monthly to ensure the vehicle and equipment are safe to use, in good condition, and the truck is stocked with the required supplies and correct amount of chemicals.

  • Administer monthly Safety and Leadership Meetings with topics that include accident/incident prevention, company updates, coaching, goals, and answering employee concerns.

Essential Skills & Experience
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Pool Maintenance Technician.

  • General supervisory experience or leadership in the pool service industry is strongly preferred.

  • Strong understanding of residential and/or commercial pool maintenance, water chemistry, equipment and repair operations.

  • Experience managing field technicians, recurring service routes and day-to-day field operations.

  • Strong customer service and conflict-resolution skills with experience managing escalated customer concerns.

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and solve operational problems in real time.

  • Tech-savvy and comfortable working with route management, CRM, scheduling and workforce management systems.

  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driving requirements.
