Job Description

Systems Integration and Interoperability Lead

TULK is a boutique consulting firm delivering mission-focused systems integration, acquisition, engineering, analysis, and operational transition services to Defense and national-security customers. We build practical teams that connect mission needs, technology, acquisition decisions, and fielded operational effect.

Our work matters because capable technology only creates value when it is integrated, tested, supportable, and trusted by the people who use it.

The Role

Lead technical integration and interoperability work that moves mature capabilities from conceptual connection to verified operational use.

What You Will Do

  • Analyze integration architectures, interfaces, dependencies, configuration constraints, and operational workflows.
  • Plan and guide system-to-system integration and cross-organization interoperability work.
  • Translate conceptual architectures into integration plans, verification evidence, and operationally usable capability.
  • Work with program offices, technical authorities, operational users, and acquisition stakeholders to resolve barriers.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of relevant systems integration, interoperability, interface-definition, dependency-analysis, or systems-engineering experience.
  • Demonstrated experience with integration planning, verification, configuration control, or transition of complex capabilities.
  • Ability to explain technical dependencies and tradeoffs in clear decision-oriented language.
  • United States citizenship is required.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce concise, decision-ready technical products.
  • Applicants must provide specific examples of their personal technical delivery, including the mission or operational problem, their technical role, and the outcome.

What Makes an Application Stand Out

Show how you personally converted a mission or operational need into an integration, test, transition, fielding, or acquisition decision. Name the problem, your technical role, the stakeholders you worked with, the evidence you produced, and the operational outcome.

How to Apply

Submit a resume and answer the application questions. TULK advances applicants whose resumes and responses clearly demonstrate relevant technical delivery and answer the required screening questions.
