Job Description

Position Description:
We are seeking a dependable, organized, and confident Towing Dispatcher to join our team. The Towing Dispatcher is responsible for receiving and coordinating emergency and routine calls for towing, roadside assistance, recovery, and transportation services.

This role plays a critical part in keeping drivers, customers, law enforcement agencies, and internal teams informed and ensuring calls are dispatched safely, accurately, and on time. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and can effectively manage multiple priorities while maintaining excellent communication and attention to detail.

What You'll Do
• Receive, prioritize, and dispatch towing, roadside service, recovery, and transportation calls.
• Dispatch drivers and monitor pickups and assignments throughout the workday.
• Maintain and confirm driver schedules and ensure on-time dispatch requirements are met.
• Verify paperwork is complete and accurate before dispatch and upon completion of assignments.
• Collect, organize, and maintain required documentation.
• Coordinate with local and state law enforcement agencies to ensure their needs are met.
• Maintain clear and accurate communication with drivers, customers, law enforcement, and internal teams.
• Anticipate potential delays or problems and develop contingency plans as needed.
• Utilize GPS tracking and dispatch software to monitor vehicles and assignments.
• Complete data entry and reports accurately and efficiently.
• Assist customers with the release of impounded vehicles.
• Interact with the public by phone and in person.
• Follow all company quality, safety, environmental, and employee handbook policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of dispatch experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Experience with GPS tracking or dispatch software.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, planning, and organizational skills.
• Good knowledge of vehicles and local geography.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm and professional in a high-volume, high-stress environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions quickly.
• Dependable attendance and a commitment to working safely.
• Ability to pass a 7-year criminal background check.
