FirstHealth is seeking an experienced healthcare supply chain leader to oversee system-wide Materials Management operations, including Purchasing, Inventory Management, Central Supply, Sterile Processing, Distribution Services, and Laundry Operations.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations of materials management and supply chain services across the health system.
- Manage purchasing, inventory control, contract compliance, and vendor relationships.
- Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives and performance improvement strategies.
- Oversee departmental budgets, capital equipment acquisitions, and financial performance.
- Partner with physicians, clinical leaders, and department directors on product evaluations and supply utilization.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, safety, and infection control standards.
- Develop and mentor leadership teams and staff.
Qualifications
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience leading materials management, purchasing, inventory management, or healthcare supply chain operations.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
Preferred:
- Healthcare supply chain certification.
- Experience in a multi-facility healthcare environment.
