WHO WE NEED: The Sr. Business Analyst role provides analysis of business practices, processes and problems; developing solutions which may involve process design, software development and policy procedural changes, creating specifications for systems to meet requirements and validating requirements against needs. You will work closely with ESS leadership and ESS development teams to ensure that business needs are met with the most practical, scalable solutions possible while also being responsible for creating documentation on process and requirements.

WHO WE NEED: The Sr. Business Analyst role provides analysis of business practices, processes and problems; developing solutions which may involve process design, software development and policy procedural changes, creating specifications for systems to meet requirements and validating requirements against needs. You will work closely with ESS leadership and ESS development teams to ensure that business needs are met with the most practical, scalable solutions possible while also being responsible for creating documentation on process and requirements.
Qualifications:
- BS degree preferred, or 5+ years of relevant work experience
- Expertise in business process analysis, requirements gathering, solution design and development, enterprise application support for customer data life cycle through all back end office applications, and a strong business understanding
- Experience working in business applications including, but not limited to, Salesforce, JIRA/Confluence, NetSuite, Spiff, etc.
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities properly
- Strong understanding and experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum)
- Experience as a Scrum Master or in a role with similar responsibilities is a plus
Role Responsibilities:
- Work with key department stakeholders to understand processes in order to become a strategic thought leader to the business across all departments relative to our core business systems.
- Have the ability to intake a business need and drill down to the actual requirement while working closely with ESS development teams to execute.
- Work within the current Agile methodology of the ESS team to ensure proper workflow and delivery of execution for requests.
- Responsible for maintaining and creating Business Requirements Documents, for every business request, as well as any other process documentation required for workassigned.
- Develop and support business processes with an architect mindset.
- Lead and facilitate backlog refinement sessions to prioritize and clarify user stories.
- Facilitate daily stand-up meetings, ensuring team alignment and removing impediments.
Travel Requirements:
- Occasional travel to our office may be requested up to once or twice a year
