Manager, Territory Sales

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Manager, Territory Sales based in Canada.

This role offers the opportunity to drive revenue growth across a portfolio of regional accounts within the fast-moving Consumer Electronics industry.
You will build trusted, multi-level customer relationships and act as a strategic advisor across your territory.
The position combines account management, business development, forecasting, merchandising, promotions, and joint business planning.
You will develop and manage opportunity pipelines while translating customer needs into commercially successful solutions.
Working closely with marketing and internal teams, you will shape account strategies, optimize sales execution, and maximize demand.
Success will be measured through revenue and profit performance, sales growth, customer relationships, and demand creation.
The role is remote and requires a self-driven, organized professional who can operate independently while collaborating effectively across teams.

Accountabilities:
  • Build and grow sales across assigned regional accounts, developing strategies that support revenue, profitability, and demand-generation objectives.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers, engaging stakeholders at multiple levels and becoming a trusted commercial advisor.
  • Develop and continuously manage an opportunity pipeline that identifies customer requirements and aligns them with appropriate solutions.
  • Review account plans monthly and collaborate with marketing teams to maximize sales opportunities within each regional account.
  • Plan and manage SKU listings, sales targets, budgets, advertising initiatives, promotional calendars, and related commercial programs.
  • Gather weekly product forecasts by model and dealer, ensuring inventory planning aligns with promotional calendars and account-level demand.
  • Coordinate promotional, SKU, and calendar schedules to minimize friction between accounts and improve sales execution.
  • Manage territory-related sales expenses in accordance with company guidelines and commercial objectives.
  • Conduct regular in-store visits and provide on-site support, including product and sales training for retail locations.
  • Collaborate with customers on joint business planning, brand management, merchandising strategies, and retail sales execution.
  • Monitor Consumer Electronics market trends and translate relevant developments into account strategies and customer conversations.
  • Deliver professional presentations and communicate sales plans, performance, opportunities, and recommendations through meetings, reports, email, and other channels.
  • Complete required certifications and training within established timelines.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or college/university education is preferred.
  • 5+ years of relevant sales or account-management experience, preferably within the Consumer Electronics industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong customer relationships and use consultative or relationship-based selling techniques to grow business.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute account-specific and territory plans that support quarterly and longer-term objectives.
  • Strong business-development skills, including the ability to identify opportunities and close new business with limited management intervention.
  • Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and manage multiple simultaneous opportunities and programs in a rapidly changing industry.
  • Strong understanding of sales planning, forecasting, promotions, merchandising, budgets, and retail execution.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other standard office productivity tools.
  • Strong written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, energetic, hardworking, and comfortable taking ownership of objectives and deadlines.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, marketing teams, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining strong commercial discipline and customer engagement.
Benefits:
  • Base salary range of $102,000–$140,000 CAD, depending on relevant knowledge, competencies, qualifications, skills, and experience.
  • Performance-based variable incentive opportunities.
  • Flexible remote working environment.
  • Employer-paid medical and dental coverage from day one.
  • Extended health and dental benefits with spending accounts.
  • Group savings and matching programs, including RRSP/TFSA/NRSP options.
  • Wellness and well-being benefits, including additional well-being days to support work-life balance.
  • Employee discount on products.
  • Tuition reimbursement and professional development opportunities.
  • Employee referral program.
  • Virtual pet-care support.
  • Opportunities for learning, growth, and career development.
  • Accessible recruitment and workplace accommodations for qualified candidates with disabilities or other needs.
