Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) in Akron, Ohio at 2K Dental

Our private practice is actively seeking an EFDA to work at our Akron (Waterloo Rd.) office. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional support to our dental team, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow while delivering outstanding patient care. This role requires proficiency in various dental procedures, knowledge of dental terminology, and familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

What You'll Do:

• Assist dentists with examinations and procedures like fillings.
• Place restorations and sealants.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays).
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure a smooth workflow.
• Monitor clinical supply levels and place weekly orders within the designated budget
• guidelines.
• Maintain knowledge of best practices and relevant health and safety rules.
• Additional tasks as assigned by management.
