This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Promotor(a) de Merchandising - Santa Maria/RS based in Brazil.

This is a field-based opportunity for a merchandising professional responsible for strengthening product visibility and sales performance across retail locations in Santa Maria. You will represent the partner's portfolio in stores, ensuring products are well positioned, properly displayed, and aligned with promotional campaigns. The role combines in-store execution, customer interaction, merchandising standards, and achievement of key performance indicators. You will identify opportunities to improve shelf presence, secure strategic placements, and maximize the impact of point-of-sale materials. Your work will directly influence product availability, shopper experience, and commercial results. The position is ideal for someone proactive, target-driven, communicative, and comfortable working independently in a dynamic retail environment.

Accountabilities:
  • Visit assigned stores according to the established planning and visitation cycle.
  • Represent the partner's brands professionally and build positive relationships with retail customers and store teams.
  • Monitor shelves, product assortment, availability, pricing, and overall execution within assigned locations.
  • Ensure products are correctly positioned, organized, and displayed according to merchandising guidelines.
  • Implement promotional campaigns and identify the best opportunities for product placement and visibility within each store.
  • Create and maintain attractive in-store displays that maximize shopper engagement and sales potential.
  • Optimize the use and positioning of point-of-sale materials and other merchandising assets.
  • Identify opportunities to increase product exposure, improve availability, and strengthen the overall presence of the portfolio.
  • Complete required administrative activities and provide accurate information regarding store visits and execution.
  • Monitor and contribute to agreed key performance indicators and annual commercial objectives.
  • Develop strong relationships with customers and strive to become a preferred supplier partner through reliable execution and service.
  • Maintain a proactive approach to identifying challenges and implementing practical solutions in the field.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in merchandising, field sales, retail execution, or a related commercial role is preferred.
  • Good understanding of retail environments, in-store execution, product presentation, and customer service.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with confidence when interacting with store personnel and customers.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented, with a strong commitment to achieving established targets.
  • Ability to work independently, manage a planned store visit schedule, and prioritize activities effectively.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail when executing merchandising standards and administrative tasks.
  • Basic to intermediate computer skills and familiarity with digital tools used for reporting and communication.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to different store environments and respond constructively to changing priorities.
  • Willingness to work in a field-based position and travel between assigned retail locations in the Santa Maria/RS area.
