Overview

Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Blow Press Operator and play a vital role in producing high-quality plastic components through advanced blow molding processes. In this energetic role, you'll operate and monitor blow molding machines, ensuring efficient production while maintaining strict safety and quality standards. Your expertise will contribute directly to delivering precision-engineered products that meet customer specifications and company excellence benchmarks.

Duties

  • Set up, operate, and troubleshoot plastics blow molding machines to produce consistent, high-quality parts.
  • Use programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to manage machine functions and ensure optimal operation.
  • Conduct quality inspections using precision measurement instruments and dimensional measurement techniques to verify product specifications.
  • Perform routine maintenance and mechanical troubleshooting on blow molding equipment, robotic systems, and auxiliary machinery such as press brake machines.
  • Handle materials safely using forklifts and materials handling tools, ensuring proper storage and movement within the warehouse environment.
  • Follow safety protocols rigorously to maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
  • Assist with assembly processes when required, ensuring seamless integration of components into final products.
  • Support lean manufacturing initiatives by identifying process improvements and reducing waste during production cycles.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in plastics blow molding or plastics production environment with knowledge of plastics extrusion, injection molding, or related manufacturing processes.
  • Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment such as robotic systems, and press brake machines.
  • Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for machine control and automation tasks.
  • Ability to perform precision measurements using measuring instruments for quality control purposes.
  • Basic math skills for interpreting technical data, measurements, and process parameters.
  • Hands-on experience with hand tools and safety equipment to perform routine maintenance and repairs effectively.
  • Warehouse experience including materials handling with forklifts is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and adherence to industry standards in an industrial setting.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with an engineering troubleshooting mindset for addressing equipment issues promptly.

Monday - Friday; overtime scheduled for Saturdays and/or before or after shift
1st Shift - 7am - 3:30pm
2nd Shift - 3pm - 11:30pm
3rd Shift - 11pm - 7:30pm
