Franchise Sales Director - West Coast and MidWest

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Franchise Sales Director - West Coast and MidWest based in United States.

This is a fully remote, high-activity sales leadership opportunity focused on building franchise growth across a broad U.S. territory.
You will proactively identify and engage independent brokerage owners, industry leaders, and other potential franchise partners.
The role combines strategic market development with hands-on outbound prospecting, relationship building, and qualification.
You’ll spend significant time in the field, meeting prospects, attending industry events, and developing local market intelligence.
Working alongside a Regional Vice President, you’ll create a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities and help accelerate territory growth.
Success will come from disciplined sales execution, entrepreneurial ownership, strong relationships, and a deep understanding of market opportunities.
This role is ideal for a self-motivated sales professional who enjoys creating opportunities from the ground up and operating with significant autonomy.

Accountabilities
  • Drive proactive outbound prospecting across assigned West Coast and Midwest markets through calls, texts, email, social outreach, networking, referrals, and face-to-face business development.
  • Build and nurture relationships with independent brokerage owners, team leaders, industry influencers, and other decision-makers to create a sustainable franchise opportunity pipeline.
  • Lead early-stage prospect meetings, discovery conversations, presentations, and qualification activities, partnering with the Regional Vice President as opportunities progress.
  • Qualify prospective franchise partners based on strategic fit, business profile, growth potential, readiness, and other relevant criteria, while establishing clear next steps.
  • Maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities aligned with territory growth and future revenue objectives.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify priority prospects, emerging opportunities, local trends, and areas with strong franchise potential.
  • Execute regular in-market prospecting, including market canvassing, brokerage visits, networking events, conferences, and scheduled meetings with prospects.
  • Provide market intelligence, prospect feedback, and competitive insights to support territory planning, prioritization, and growth strategy.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records covering prospect activity, pipeline status, next steps, and relevant market information to support visibility and forecasting.
  • Clearly communicate the franchise value proposition, growth strategy, and competitive differentiation to prospective partners.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Vice President, Sales Enablement, Marketing, Operations, and Shared Services teams to maximize sales effectiveness.
  • Contribute to territory growth through consistent outbound activity, relationship development, qualified opportunity generation, pipeline creation, and contribution to closed business.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in sales, business development, franchise development, management consulting, or a related commercial role.
  • Demonstrated success generating pipeline through proactive outbound prospecting, including cold and warm calling, email, social selling, networking, referrals, and in-person business development.
  • Experience in real estate, franchise sales, brokerage operations, or a related industry is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to understand business models, assess strategic fit, identify growth opportunities, and qualify prospects effectively.
  • Proven consultative selling, discovery, problem-solving, and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Confidence and credibility when engaging executive-level decision-makers and leading compelling meetings and presentations, both virtually and in person.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a high volume of prospecting activity while maintaining accurate pipeline information.
  • Experience using CRM platforms, Microsoft Office, and other sales technology tools.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong self-direction, persistence, accountability, creativity, and a consistent focus on results.
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment while maintaining a high level of outbound activity and follow-through.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 50–75% throughout the assigned territory for prospect meetings, market visits, networking, conferences, and industry events.
  • Residence within the assigned West Coast/Midwest territory is strongly preferred.
