BRX is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join one of our school district partners in Phoenix.
This is an excellent opportunity for an OT who enjoys working directly with students and collaborating with educators and related service providers. You will play an important role in helping students develop the skills they need to participate, learn, and succeed in the school environment.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Provide individual and group occupational therapy services
- Address students’ fine motor, sensory, visual-motor, self-care, and functional skills
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals related to occupational therapy
- Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams
- Provide recommendations, strategies, and accommodations to support student success
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student programming
- Ensure services and documentation are completed in accordance with district and state requirements
- Support students in becoming more independent and successful within the school setting
- Active Arizona Occupational Therapy license
- Experience working with children or in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
