About the role

• We are looking for a candidate that has experience with high-speed signals, RF design, flex boards, signal integrity, high-density, low- and high-power signals, EMC/EMI, that can work well independently and in a team environment
• The successful candidate will also have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills. The chosen candidate will work closely with Hardware, Mechanical and Component Engineers as well as Purchasing and Manufacturing departments.

What you'll do

• Design layout of Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) from schematic design for high-speed signals, RF, high-density, low- and high-power signals
• Collaborate with mechanical designers, schematic designers, BOM engineers, manufacturing to optimize the design based on technical feedback
• Communicate with PCB manufacturers regarding Gerbers files to optimize manufacturability

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of work experience in layout design
• Experience with Altium design tools
• Knowledge of communication protocols such as CAN, T1/Tx Ethernet, GMSL, USB is considered an asset
• Work well independently and in team environments
• Communicate effectively with internal technical and non-technical teams as well as external vendors
