Production Manager in Gallatin, Tennessee at CAROLINA ATLANTIC ROOFING SUPPLY LLC

The Production Manager will be responsible for managing the production pipeline – from ensuring all necessary materials are available when needed to ensuring that all production schedules are met. Must have an understanding of manufacturing and production systems, have excellent oral and written communication skills, and be able to forecast supply needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage fleet and warehouse operations to maintain personnel and process adherence
• Ensure safety, quality, and compliance metrics are met to meet company and compliance standard
• Produce and maintain facility operating procedures to ensure accuracy of inventory management and eliminate delivery problems
• Prepare and coordinate schedules for shipping and receiving materials to control the flow of goods and regulate warehouse space
• Communicate with sales staff on project timelines, cost evaluations, and customer expectations
• Assist in the creation of process improvement goals for warehouse and fleet employees to improve accuracy and efficiency
• Use Microsoft Excel and Office tools to notate and maintain records

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma/GED preferred
• 1+ years of experience in manufacturing or warehouse setting
• Must pass a background check and drug test
• Minimal work travel may be necessary
• Strong oral and written communication skills. Must be able to communicate effectively with staff and management
• Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word, in particular)
• Highly detailed-oriented, and analytical-minded with a process improvement mindset
