Job Description
Synergetics Installations Worldwide is an owner-led management consulting firm and one of the most respected names in implementation consulting. Since 1975, we have completed over 1,800 client engagements, generating more than $9 billion in total EBITDA improvements for a diverse portfolio that includes Fortune 500 companies, Private Equity-backed businesses, and small-to-mid-size enterprises. We operate across four business segments — Healthcare, Consumer, Industrials, and Business Services — with core expertise in business value creation, mergers and acquisitions, supply chain management, and management operations. Our people are our foundation, guided by a core set of values: honesty, authenticity, respect, trust, and teamwork.
Role Overview
The Senior Marketing Associate owns Synergetics’ content engine - the editorial calendar, the writing, and the distribution that earns conversations with our target personas. You’ll partner with our Managing Directors to translate deep subject-matter expertise into thought leadership, case studies, and sales enablement assets that work in two registers at once: building the brand at the top of the funnel and giving Managing Directors sharper tools at the bottom.
You will partner closely with our Digital Marketing Manager on what to publish and where, ensuring every asset is leveraged across channels.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
• Editorial calendar. Persona-based, mapped to our messaging and content pillars and to our three priority audiences (Private Equity Operating Partners, Value Creation leads, sponsor-firm MDs).
• Long-form content. Thought leadership pieces, white papers, and case studies. Case studies are the highest-leverage credibility asset for our buyer set - they are a year-one priority.
• Distribution on LinkedIn. Posting content from the company LinkedIn page. Building a repeatable motion, including content optimization and a regular posting cadence.
• Newsletter. Strategy, production, and growth. Work with our designer on the design and execution a quarterly newsletter to engage contacts.
• Sales enablement copy. MD talk tracks, outreach email sequences (cold, warm-referral, post-meeting), one-pagers and cases as required.
• SEO and GEO content strategy. In partnership with the Digital Marketing Manager and our SEO/GEO vendor, help ensure we’re developing content that shows up where buyers are looking.
Year-One Success Looks Like
• Persona-based editorial calendar published and running on a predictable cadence.
• 3–4 industry-tagged, deal-stage-tagged case studies shipped - the universally requested credibility asset.
• 1,500 newsletter subscribers and a +20% lift in firm LinkedIn followers by year-end.
• Quarterly brief to leadership on what is resonating, what needs adjustment, and what is next.
Qualifications
• 4–7 years in B2B content marketing, ideally in professional services, consulting, financial services, or another expertise-heavy environment.
• A strong writer. Portfolio of long-form work you have shipped - thought leadership, case studies, executive content. We will read your samples.
• Demonstrated AI fluency in your actual writing and editorial workflow. We will ask you to walk us through real examples.
• Comfortable interviewing senior partners or Managing Directors and translating their expertise into clear, sharp prose. You can run a 30-minute SME conversation and walk out with everything you need to ship.
• Strong editorial judgment. You know what is worth writing, what is not, and how to keep MDs (and leadership) on schedule using tactful diplomacy.
• Account-based, sales-aware mindset. This is content built to drive specific conversations with named PE firms, not vanity reach.
Nice to Have
• Direct experience writing to private equity audiences or in a PE-adjacent advisory practice.
• Experience building a content function from scratch - including the playbooks, the SME accountability mechanics, and the editorial governance.
• Comfort with LinkedIn-first executive content programs: ghostwriting, profile optimization, and distribution mechanics.
Why join us?
High-impact work: Lead transformations that directly improve client profitability and performance.
Growth trajectory: Work alongside seasoned leaders on complex, career-defining engagements.
Flexibility: Hybrid role with structured travel for business needs.
Culture of excellence: Collaborative, fast-paced environment that rewards curiosity, rigor, and results.
Ready to optimize supply chains that move industries? Apply now to bring your analytical expertise and implementation drive to a firm where your work shapes the future of operations. Benefits: Medical, Dental, Life & ADD, STD, LTD. 401K match. Unlimited PTO.
