This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr People Ops Coordinator based in United States.
This role is centered on delivering an exceptional employee experience across the full people lifecycle.
You will serve as a trusted escalation point for employees and managers, resolving complex HR questions with accuracy, empathy, and strong follow-through.
The position sits within a collaborative People Operations environment, partnering closely with Benefits, Payroll, and People Business Partner teams.
You will manage sensitive cases involving leave, payroll, unemployment claims, employee data, onboarding, and other people-related processes.
The role also offers opportunities to improve processes, strengthen data quality, and contribute to efficient and scalable HR operations.

- Serve as a Level 2/3 escalation point for complex employee questions and cases, ensuring timely, accurate, and employee-focused resolutions.
- Partner with Benefits specialists on leave of absence cases, serving as a liaison between employees, managers, and Benefits teams.
- Support managers and Payroll with timely and accurate timecard completion, investigating and resolving discrepancies as needed.
- Partner with Benefits teams to support annual and ongoing dependent verification activities in accordance with established guidelines.
- Manage unemployment claims from filing through resolution, coordinating documentation, responses, and follow-up with appropriate stakeholders.
- Partner with Payroll and ADP to resolve manager inquiries and support accurate timekeeping processes.
- Own People team vendor administration in Coupa, including vendor onboarding, invoice and purchase order processing, and maintaining accurate vendor records.
- Support new employees during their first week by answering questions, assisting with required documentation, and auditing U.S.-based new hire data.
- Champion an employee-first, customer-centric approach by taking ownership of requests through full resolution.
- Monitor HR audit reports and systems to identify and correct employee data discrepancies.
- Maintain People Operations documentation, records, and administrative processes.
- Support the drafting, tracking, and administration of workforce management letter agreements.
- Identify and implement improvements to People Operations processes, including documentation and RACI development.
- Collaborate with internal governance, risk, and compliance teams to support monthly HITRUST audit requirements.
- Support onboarding activities and ensure required new hire documentation is completed accurately and on time.
- Provide operational support throughout the employee lifecycle, from onboarding through offboarding.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of HR experience, with practical knowledge of leave of absence processes, ADA accommodations, payroll, and timecard procedures.
- Working knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and unemployment claims processes.
- Strong proficiency with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases, priorities, and competing deadlines.
- Exceptional customer service skills and a genuine commitment to creating positive employee experiences.
- Strong ownership and follow-through, with the ability to take complex requests from initial inquiry through resolution.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive employee information with discretion and professionalism.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to build effective working relationships with employees, managers, Benefits, Payroll, and People Business Partner teams.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.
- Adaptability and sound judgment when handling sensitive, complex, or time-critical employee matters.
- Familiarity with HR systems, payroll platforms, vendor management tools, and employee lifecycle processes is an advantage.
