This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Windows & Active Directory Azure Entra ID - OS, Virtualization and Hardware-Operations Support based in India.
This role is suited to an experienced infrastructure professional responsible for maintaining secure, reliable, and high-performing Windows environments.
You will provide advanced support across Active Directory, Azure Entra ID, Windows Server, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, clustering, and enterprise infrastructure.
The position combines daily operational support with migrations, upgrades, vulnerability remediation, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
You will also contribute to certificate management, file and print services, hardware support, and cloud-based infrastructure operations.
Strong scripting and automation skills will help streamline recurring activities and resolve complex technical challenges efficiently.

- Provide Level 3 administration and operational support for Active Directory environments, including user and computer objects, Organizational Units, Sites and Services, replication, and Domain Controllers.
- Monitor Active Directory health and performance, troubleshoot complex issues, identify root causes, and implement preventive measures.
- Manage Windows Server environments, including installation, configuration, operating system upgrades, migrations, application installation, and OS-level troubleshooting.
- Administer DNS, DHCP, Group Policy Objects, DFS namespaces, folders, and DFS replication.
- Configure and support Windows file server clusters and SQL Always On Availability Group clusters.
- Manage Azure Entra ID, file and print services, and enterprise print applications.
- Administer Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and support infrastructure security and endpoint protection requirements.
- Manage PKI environments, including Root CA, Intermediate CA, and public-domain certificates.
- Perform remote server installation and configuration using Dell iDRAC, HP iLO, and related hardware-management technologies.
- Support external public DNS services, FTP environments, and associated infrastructure platforms.
- Monitor and remediate server vulnerabilities using tools and processes such as Qualys.
- Develop PowerShell and custom scripts to automate operational activities and support ad-hoc technical requirements.
- Prepare standard operating procedures, root cause analysis documentation, and technical records for major incidents.
- Coordinate with infrastructure and technical teams on daily operations, changes, troubleshooting, and service improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent graduation-level qualification in a relevant technical discipline.
- Approximately 10–14 years of experience in Windows Server administration, Active Directory, infrastructure operations, or related enterprise IT environments.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Active Directory administration, including Domain Controllers, OUs, Sites and Services, replication, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
- Solid experience administering Microsoft Windows Server 2016 and 2019 environments, including OS installation, upgrades, migrations, and troubleshooting.
- Practical experience with Azure Entra ID and Microsoft cloud environments, including Microsoft 365.
- Experience with DFS, Windows file servers, Windows clustering, and SQL Always On Availability Group clustering.
- Strong knowledge of PKI and certificate lifecycle management, including Root CA, Intermediate CA, and public certificates.
- Experience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and server vulnerability remediation, including Qualys.
- Familiarity with enterprise DNS, DHCP, file and print services, FTP, and general server and network administration concepts.
- Experience supporting Dell server hardware and remote management tools such as iDRAC; familiarity with equivalent hardware-management platforms is beneficial.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and the ability to create custom scripts for automation and operational tasks.
- Experience with infrastructure tools such as ServiceNow and enterprise DNS platforms.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, incident-management, and root cause analysis capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, participate in daily operations, and communicate effectively with technical stakeholders.
- Strong documentation skills, with the ability to create SOPs, technical procedures, and incident reports.
