Job Description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Founding Product Manager, AI Corps based in the United States.
This is a founding product leadership opportunity focused on building a new platform for deploying applied AI talent at enterprise scale.
You will own the product from strategy and discovery through design, development, launch, and continuous iteration.
The platform will connect organizations with AI specialists, support training and matching, enable successful deployment, and measure outcomes.
You’ll work at the intersection of product, AI, workforce development, enterprise partnerships, curriculum, and engineering.
The role offers significant autonomy, with the opportunity to establish product practices, customer feedback loops, and design standards from the ground up.
You’ll collaborate closely with commercial, technical, and program teams while working with enterprise partners on real-world AI adoption challenges.
This is an ideal role for a founding-caliber product leader who thrives in ambiguity, moves quickly, and wants to shape a product with substantial growth and social impact potential.
- Define and own the product roadmap, translating the needs of fellows, enterprise partners, and program teams into clear priorities while maintaining a high bar for product and user experience quality.
- Establish and track the metrics that demonstrate product effectiveness, including fellow engagement, learner satisfaction, partner satisfaction, and overall experience quality.
- Build the platform that enables AI talent programs to operate repeatedly and efficiently at enterprise scale, including partner onboarding, fellow matching and deployment, performance tracking, and lifecycle management.
- Design and develop an employee AI enablement experience that helps existing enterprise teams build the skills required to work effectively with AI alongside deployed specialists.
- Conduct structured discovery with enterprise customers, internal stakeholders, and program participants, translating insights into success metrics, prototypes, product requirements, and shipped features.
- Partner closely with enterprise and strategic partners on deployment models, tooling, integrations, and potential joint opportunities.
- Collaborate with commercial teams to translate customer and market requirements into product strategy and ensure the platform supports partner acquisition, retention, and long-term value.
- Design experiments around major product assumptions and use qualitative feedback and quantitative data to make rapid, informed decisions.
- Serve as the connective link between commercial, program, curriculum, and engineering teams by aligning priorities, clarifying trade-offs, and removing execution blockers.
- Establish strong product processes, feedback loops, design practices, and operating standards for a platform that is still in its early stages.
- Incorporate AI deeply into the product development workflow, using AI-assisted research, prototyping, analysis, requirements development, and experimentation to increase both speed and quality.
- Demonstrated experience building products from 0-to-1 through commercial scale, ideally remaining involved through the growth and optimization stages that follow launch.
- Strong track record of operating in high-growth environments where you have had significant ownership and limited precedent or established processes to rely on.
- Demonstrated ability to use AI as an integral part of your daily product workflow, including building prototypes, generating and evaluating requirements, conducting analysis, or creating AI-assisted workflows.
- Strong product judgment and the ability to form clear, well-reasoned opinions, communicate them effectively, and defend product decisions with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfort working through ambiguity, structuring complex problems, building alignment, and driving execution without an established playbook.
- Experience partnering closely with Sales, Customer Success, or other commercial teams and understanding how product capabilities can influence enterprise deals and customer retention.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to define meaningful product metrics, interpret data, design experiments, and use evidence to change direction when necessary.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create product requirements that engineering teams can execute against and communicate product strategy to senior stakeholders.
- Preferred experience with corporate learning and development, HR, workforce technology, talent marketplaces, staffing, employee benefits, or related enterprise products.
- Familiarity with modern product and data tools such as Mixpanel, Amplitude, Hex, Figma, Framer, SQL, and AI-assisted development platforms such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or similar technologies is advantageous.
- Experience with enterprise SaaS, integrations, administrative platforms, or founder-level 0-to-1 product development is a plus.
- A strong sense of ownership, urgency, curiosity, and resilience, with the ability to balance high standards with rapid execution.
- Compensation: $200,000–$232,000 USD in total compensation.
- Remote Work: 100% remote position with the flexibility to work from anywhere in the United States.
- Healthcare: Medical, dental, and vision insurance with 90% employer coverage for employees and dependents.
- Healthcare Support: Employer-funded healthcare reimbursement, FSAs, and an Employee Assistance Program.
- Financial Security: 401(k) plan, employer-paid life and disability insurance, and identity theft protection.
- Paid Time Off: Generous PTO, paid holidays, and 10 weeks of fully paid parental leave.
- Company Closure: Annual year-end company closure from December 24 through January 2.
- Professional Development: $1,000 annual professional development stipend plus home-office setup support.
- Student Loan Support: Eligibility for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) as a qualifying employer.
- Additional Perks: Pet wellness plans, legal services, home and auto insurance discounts, and access to exclusive marketplace savings.
- Growth Opportunity: Significant autonomy and ownership within a high-growth, mission-driven environment where the product is being built from the ground up.
