This role supports the development, administration, and continuous improvement of employee compensation and benefits programs in a global organization. You will contribute to programs that help ensure employees are rewarded fairly, competitively, and consistently across different markets. The position combines analytical work, policy interpretation, market benchmarking, and practical problem-solving. You’ll work with compensation data, job classifications, salary structures, and regulatory requirements to support informed business decisions. The role also offers exposure to incentive compensation, bonus programs, sales compensation, and equity-related initiatives. - Support the development, implementation, and administration of compensation policies, programs, guidelines, and practices.
- Review and audit jobs to evaluate responsibilities, activities, duties, and requirements, ensuring job descriptions accurately reflect the work performed.
- Develop, coordinate, or participate in compensation surveys and analyze market data to assess competitive salary positioning.
- Review proposed salary adjustments to ensure alignment with established compensation guidelines, policies, internal equity, and market practices.
- Investigate compensation-related issues and recommend appropriate corrective actions or alternative solutions.
- Evaluate requests for new or revised job classifications and recommend appropriate salary grades and levels.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of salary structures, compensation frameworks, and related organizational practices.
- Assess job revisions, organizational structures, and FLSA exemption considerations as part of broader compensation planning.
- Monitor existing and proposed statutory or regulatory requirements affecting compensation administration and recommend appropriate actions.
- Prepare compensation analyses, special studies, reports, and recommendations related to incentive compensation, bonus plans, sales compensation, stock options, and other reward programs.
- Support the administration of domestic and international compensation programs as required.
- Partner with relevant stakeholders to provide clear guidance on compensation policies, market positioning, job classifications, and employee reward practices.
- Demonstrated experience in compensation, benefits, total rewards, HR analytics, or a closely related field, preferably at a senior or specialist level.
- Strong understanding of compensation principles, salary structures, job evaluation, market benchmarking, and compensation program administration.
- Experience analyzing competitive salary data and participating in compensation surveys.
- Ability to evaluate roles, job responsibilities, classifications, and salary grades using established frameworks and sound judgment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret compensation data and turn findings into practical recommendations.
- Knowledge of compensation policies, employment regulations, and statutory requirements relevant to compensation administration.
- Experience supporting salary adjustments, incentive compensation, bonus programs, sales compensation, equity programs, or similar reward initiatives is advantageous.
- Exposure to international compensation programs or multinational environments is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills, particularly when working with sensitive employee and compensation information.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain compensation concepts and recommendations clearly to stakeholders.
- Sound judgment, problem-solving ability, and a pragmatic approach to resolving compensation-related issues.
- Ability to work collaboratively across functions while also managing responsibilities independently.
- Candidates must be authorized to work permanently in India without requiring employment sponsorship.
