The CCTV Repair Technician will oversee the facility and be responsible for maintenance and

repair of the company’s robotic camera equipment.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Plans and coordinates tasks and activities of robotic camera equipment
  • Performs preventive maintenance inspections and service on robotic camera equipment.
  • Thoroughly cleans machines and machine parts, removing parts and reinstalling as necessary.
  • Oils and lubricates moving parts on machines to ensure effective performance.
  • Records and reports damaged, worn, or broken parts to managers.
  • Orders and installs replacement parts for machines.
  • Identifies the causes of unexpected breakdowns of machines.
  • Repairs broken machines quickly and efficiently.
  • Prepares reports documenting work performed.
  • Cleans, organizes, inventories, stocks, and otherwise maintains shop areas, parts, tools, and supplies.
  • Coordinates with managers to schedule regular maintenance on machines.
  • Makes necessary modifications and implements tests runs; confers with manager regarding test results and makes additional alterations to machinery as required.
  • Will provide in-house and in-field training as necessary
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.

  • Excellent mechanical skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Extensive knowledge of robotic camera equipment
  • Ability to visually diagnose mechanical issues
  • Ability to read service and repair manuals.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools.
  • Ability to perform repairs in a timely fashion.
  • Proficient with computer diagnostic equipment and software.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Five years of related experience preferred.
  • Vocational or technical school training preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to physically perform repairs.
  • Must be able to work safely in a noisy area with many odors present.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
  • Good vision to inspect repair work.
  • Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform repairs and inspections.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday and

includes shift work, weekends, evenings, holidays - Flexibility is required as job duties demand.

Salary Range

  • $68,000.00- $80,000.00, depending on position qualifications, job related skills and experience, education, certifications, and geographic location.
