We are looking for someone who brings positive energy, strong volleyball knowledge, and a genuine enthusiasm for mentoring high school student-athletes.

As a member of the coaching staff, you will work closely with the Head Coach and Athletic Department to support a program that values excellence, inclusivity, and whole-student development both on and off the court.

  • Mentor and support student-athletes in skill development, teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship
  • Collaborate with the Head Coach, athletic department, and school community to uphold program expectations and school values

  • Support the safe and effective use of athletic facilities and equipment
  • Travel to games and events throughout the Portland metro area

Qualifications

  • Previous volleyball coaching and/or competitive playing experience required
  • High school, club, collegiate, or youth coaching experience strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to positively connect with and motivate student-athletes
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Commitment to creating an inclusive and respectful team environment
  • NFHS/OSAA coaching certifications (or ability to obtain upon hire)
  • Current First Aid/CPR certification, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
  • Reliable transportation to attend practices and athletic events throughout the Portland metro area

Additional Information

  • Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled
  • Stipend is competitive and based on experience
  • This is a seasonal position for Fall 2026 with a start date of late Summer 2026

If you are excited about building meaningful relationships with student-athletes, contributing to a strong volleyball program and adding to the vibrancy of our school community, we encourage you to apply.
