What You’ll Do:
In this role, you will lead enterprise solution architecture across applications, cloud, infrastructure, and integration initiatives. You will design secure, scalable, highly available, and resilient technology solutions. You will create architecture standards, technical roadmaps, solution blueprints, and governance practices. You will design integration strategies using APIs, middleware, messaging, and data integration tools and collaborate with technical and business teams to ensure solutions follow security, DevSecOps, and governance standards.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Lead enterprise solution architecture for business applications, cloud services, infrastructure, and enterprise integration initiatives.
- Design secure, scalable, highly available, and resilient enterprise technology solutions.
- Develop enterprise architecture standards, technical roadmaps, and solution blueprints.
- Lead cloud adoption, application modernization, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Design integration strategies utilizing APIs, middleware, and enterprise messaging technologies.
- Provide architectural guidance across Oracle, Microsoft, GIS, enterprise applications, and cloud platforms.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend enterprise solutions supporting DC Water's strategic objectives.
- Conduct architecture reviews, technical assessments, and design governance activities.
- Collaborate with project managers, technical leads, and business stakeholders throughout project delivery.
- Ensure enterprise solutions comply with cybersecurity, governance, and technology standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum 15 years of enterprise architecture or solution architecture experience.
- Minimum 8 years designing enterprise solutions for large organizations.
- Experience supporting cloud-based, hybrid, and on-premises enterprise environments.
- Experience designing enterprise application integration solutions.
- Strong understanding of enterprise security, cloud architecture, APIs, DevSecOps, and data integration.
- TOGAF Certified
- Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- AWS Solutions Architect Professional
- Kubernetes Certification (preferred)
- CISSP (preferred)
Salary Range:
