We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Talent Acquisition Coordinator to support our Talent Acquisition team working within the cleared federal contracting sector. This individual will play a vital role in coordinating administrative and operational activities to ensure seamless recruiting workflows for security-cleared roles across multiple government programs. This is an excellent opportunity to support mission-critical hiring while gaining exposure to cleared recruiting processes in the defense and intelligence community. The ideal candidate is a highly organized and adaptable professional with strong interpersonal and coordination skills, a keen interest in talent acquisition, and the capability to develop into a Talent Acquisition Specialist.
Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Talent Acquisition team, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and document preparation.
- Assist with applicant tracking system (ATS) data entry, job postings, candidate communications, referral tracking, and report generation.
- Prepare TA-related reports, dashboards, and recruiting status updates for leadership as requested.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring teams, including virtual, phone, and on-site meetings.
- Maintain confidential candidate and clearance information in compliance with security and privacy regulations.
- Support job fairs and recruiting events by preparing materials, managing logistics, and assisting onsite (if required).
- Assist with vendor coordination, invoice processing, and supplies ordering for the TA team.
- Contribute to team process improvements and recruiting operations initiatives.
- Manage and support internal recruiting programs and initiatives, including employee redeployment, referral programs, candidate engagement, and other talent acquisition projects.
This position is designed to be flexible, with responsibilities evolving to meet business needs and enable individual growth.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 1+ years of administrative experience, preferably in a government contracting, HR, or recruiting environment.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and virtual meeting platforms (e.g., MS Teams, Zoom).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and managing multiple priorities.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with ATS platforms (e.g., Deltek, ClearanceJobs, Rival)
- Familiarity with security clearance protocols (e.g., Secret, TS, TS/SCI, CI or FSP) or prior experience supporting cleared programs is strongly preferred.
- Prior experience supporting HR or Talent Acquisition teams in the cleared or government contracting space.
