The intern will work with the team to organize budget data, document assumptions, test prototype workflows, and prepare clear materials that support future budgeting, forecasting, incentive analysis, and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

  • Map historical TV budget structures, chart-of-account categories, and production assumptions to support AI-assisted budgeting workflows.
  • Build and maintain structured data files used for budget normalization, account mapping, assumptions tracking, and variance review.
  • Support incentive research and documentation by using department-developed AI tools to gather, organize, and summarize production incentive requirements, jurisdictional rules, qualifying spend considerations, filing timelines, and related reference materials, subject to Production Finance review.
  • Test AI prompts, spreadsheet models, and workflow prototypes, then document outputs, limitations, exceptions, and recommended human review controls.
  • Prepare concise summaries and process notes that translate technical findings into practical recommendations for the Production Finance team.
  • Support Production Finance project coordination and data organization as needed, with emphasis on analytical and process-improvement work.
Requirements:

  • Must meet Legendary internship eligibility requirements, including current college/university enrollment or recent graduate status.
  • A GPA of 3.5 or above is highly preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must possess unrestricted work authorization.
  • Strong Excel skills required; familiarity with PowerPoint and general Microsoft Office applications required.
  • Interest in television production finance, budgeting, production incentives, financial systems, AI tools and data-driven process improvement.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to document assumptions and escalate questions appropriately.
