• Position summary:

  • Assist physicians and staff for general patient care and clerical duties in a physician office/OP setting. Demonstrates initiative to take appropriate action in day-to-day activities without being prompted. Able to problem solve and stay current with Healthcare and payor regulations.

• MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Education:​​​​​​​
• High school graduate, minimum;

• Preferred: Certification from approved school with certificate in Medical assisting .

• Preferred: Graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing and current licensure of Ohio State Board of Nursing.

• Required length and type of experience:

  • Medical terminology/previous healthcare experience in outpatient setting preferred.
  • Comprehensive training will be provided.
  • Experience in an orthopedic or related clinical setting preferred, including familiarity with orthopedic devices and general patient education throughout the course of care.

• Required licensure, certification or registry:
• CPR certification required.
  • Preferred: Current Medical Assisting certification.
  • Preferred: Current license as a Practical Nurse in the State of Ohio.
