Job Description
Eldor Automotive Powertrain USA is searching for a Resin Operator to join our team at the Production Plant located in Daleville, producing Ignition systems for the US Automotive Market. We are seeking candidates with a strong sense of responsibility and excellent communication skills, hardworking, careful and earnest, good team cooperation spirit, and comfortable with frequent bending and lifting.
The Resin Operator will join our Production department, reporting to the Line Shift Supervisor.
The Resin Operator will operate the Resin plant, inspect products to meet the target output, and ensure high quality of products. Effectively communicates abnormal product conditions to team leader for problem solving. Additional responsibilities are listed below.
- Perform line opening and closing activities in accordance with instructions
- Load trays of heated parts into machine
- Maintain accurate paperwork to track production, traceability, material usage, and downtime.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Inspect parts for defects and ensure quality of products through the process.
- Replace material barrels as needed using pallet jack.
- Ensure that processes are followed during production.
- Perform daily TPMs and MPIs
- Assist in changeover of line components when called for.
- Quickly report when problems occur to line tech/team leader.
- Retains information well.
- Familiar with basic hand tools and vacuum clamps.
Physical Environment and Requirements:
- While the building is climate-controlled, this position will be working in close proximity to the industrial ovens (warmer area of the plant).
- Physically transporting trays from trolley to oven (~30 lb trays)
- Weekend Availability (Overtime is a requirement for this role)
Education Required:
- High School diploma (or GED)
Experience Required:
- 1 year in manufacturing or experience in using epoxy resin in a manufacturing environment.
Technical Knowledge/Skills:
- Ability to interpret HMI
- Basic math and calculator skills
- How to use manual pallet jack
