Eastern Sierra Engineering is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented President to lead our West Coast operations. This critical role will be responsible for the overall performance and strategic direction of our offices in Bishop, Zephyr Cove, and Reno. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Drive Revenue Growth:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to expand Eastern Sierra Engineering's market share and penetrate new customer segments.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including developing proposals and responding to RFPs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and industry stakeholders.
- Actively participate in industry events and networking opportunities to promote the company's services.
- Set and achieve aggressive sales targets for each office location.
Operational Leadership:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Bishop, Zephyr Cove, and Reno offices, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
- Develop and implement operational plans to optimize resource allocation, improve productivity, and enhance profitability.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and company policies.
- Manage budgets and financial performance, providing regular reporting to the CEO.
Team Development and Mentorship:
- Build, develop, and lead high-performing teams in each office location.
- Mentor and coach staff to enhance their skills and advance their careers.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.
- Identify and recruit top talent to strengthen the company's capabilities.
Strategic Planning:
- Contribute to the development and execution of the company's overall strategic plan.
- Identify and evaluate market trends and competitive forces to inform strategic decision-making.
- Develop and implement growth initiatives to expand the company's service offerings and geographic reach.
Client Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and secure repeat business.
- Proactively address client concerns and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expert guidance and support.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in the engineering consulting industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of success in driving sales growth and exceeding revenue targets.
- Strong understanding of business development principles and practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing multiple office locations is a plus.
- Familiarity with the Eastern Sierra region and its market dynamics is highly desirable.
