GOLF SHOP ASSISTANT

As a Golf Shop Assistant at The Cliffs, you will be a key member of an extraordinary team that strives daily to exceed members’ expectations. We are growing communities where career and growth opportunities are endless.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Consistently emulate the "Go First" culture with all other employees, leaders, members, guests.
  • Participate in weekly meetings with the management team and communicate with other team members regarding policies and standards.
  • Register golfers for daily and tournament play.
  • Assist members with tee times.
  • Create a positive experience for each customer - provide excellent customer service & sales advice.
  • Be able to self-direct and work in a team environment.
  • Assist members and guests with sale of golf shop merchandise.
  • Assist golf professional staff with month end inventories.
  • Golf experience or knowledge of the game is required.
  • Proficient in computer applications including Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Retail/Point-of-Sale Software.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings, and holidays
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Possess the ability to drive a battery-operated golf cart, following safety guidelines.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 40 lbs.
  • Must be able to withstand a range of outside weather conditions (heat/cold, rain/snow, etc.)
  • Must be able to withstand prolonged exposure to sunlight.
