About the Role:

The Cashier II plays a critical role in delivering an exceptional customer experience by efficiently processing transactions and providing friendly, accurate service at the point of sale. This position requires handling cash, credit, and other forms of payment while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. The Cashier II is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized checkout area, resolving customer inquiries, and supporting store operations to contribute to overall business success. This role also involves collaborating with team members to manage inventory and assist with merchandising tasks as needed. Ultimately, the Cashier II helps create a welcoming environment that encourages repeat business and customer satisfaction.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
  • Previous experience in a cashier or customer service role preferred but not required.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a retail environment.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash register operations.
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting.
  • Basic knowledge of inventory management and merchandising.

Responsibilities:
