Description:

CPIhealth is seeking a skilled and compassionate Neurosurgeon specializing in Pain Management to join our Louisville, KY team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with chronic and acute pain conditions. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with complex neurological and spine-related pain conditions.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing both surgical and non-surgical approaches.
  • Perform procedures and interventions when clinically indicated.
  • Collaborate with pain management specialists and primary care providers.
  • Interpret diagnostic imaging and other clinical studies.
  • Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, risks, and expected outcomes.
  • Document patient encounters accurately and maintain compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental activities.

Requirements:
  • Fellowship training or significant experience in Pain Management, Functional Neurosurgery, Spine Surgery, or related specialty.
  • Experience with advanced pain interventions and neuromodulation techniques.
  • Strong commitment to patient-centered care and clinical excellence.
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
  • Completion of an accredited Neurosurgery Residency Program.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurosurgery.
  • Active and unrestricted medical license (or ability to obtain licensure in the state of practice).
  • DEA certification and applicable prescribing privileges.
