  • Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, helping strengthen technical capabilities, engineering practices, and team standards.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 9+ years of professional software engineering experience, including substantial enterprise application development.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with Java, Spring Boot, OpenJDK, GraphQL, Ruby on Rails, and REST APIs.
  • Proven experience with backend architecture, distributed systems, microservices, system design, design patterns, and scalable enterprise applications.

  • Experience troubleshooting production environments, performance tuning applications, and supporting operational systems.
  • Strong technical leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence engineering direction and lead technical discussions.
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and the ability to work effectively on complex problems at scale.
  • Experience with Docker/Kubernetes, event-driven architecture, or serverless platforms is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Zero Trust principles and secure systems integration is desirable.
  • Previous experience supporting federal government agencies is advantageous.

Benefits:
  • Salary: $140,000–$165,000 USD base salary, with compensation determined by experience, education, skills, and qualifications.
