Job Description

Marketing Events Specialist

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Marketing Events Specialist based in United States.

This role offers the opportunity to help shape a high-impact B2B technology events program across North America.
You’ll coordinate industry trade shows that generate leads, strengthen brand visibility, and support revenue growth.
Working closely with regional marketing, sales, SDR, and external vendor teams, you’ll manage events from planning through post-event analysis.
The position combines strategic coordination with hands-on execution, including logistics, onsite activations, budgets, and attendee experiences.
You’ll have significant ownership in a fast-paced environment where organization, creativity, and attention to detail are highly valued.
The role is ideal for an event marketer who enjoys managing multiple priorities while maintaining a consistently high standard of execution.
Frequent travel across the U.S. and Canada will be part of the experience, including occasional weekend commitments.

Accountabilities:
  • Coordinate the planning and execution of North American industry trade shows, managing activities from initial preparation through post-event reporting and follow-up.
  • Manage event logistics including booth design, vendor relationships, shipping, registration, collateral, onsite staffing, lead capture, swag, and booth inventory.
  • Serve as the onsite lead for selected events, coordinating setup, supporting internal teams, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring a polished attendee experience.
  • Prepare event toolkits, team briefs, pre-event enablement materials, and other resources needed to align internal stakeholders.
  • Partner with Sales and SDR teams on pre-event outreach, meeting scheduling, lead handoff, and post-event follow-up.
  • Track event budgets and expenses, monitor spending against approved plans, identify variances, and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Manage sponsorship packages and ensure contracted benefits—including speaking opportunities, branding, attendee lists, and other deliverables—are fulfilled.
  • Maintain a master event calendar covering key deadlines, ownership, submissions, deposits, shipping cutoffs, and other critical milestones.
  • Research potential new event opportunities and recommend ways to improve event presence, engagement, and overall impact.
  • Measure event performance and ROI, providing reporting, insights, and recommendations to improve future programs.
  • Manage event materials, giveaways, and inventory, including storage, replenishment, transportation, and reordering.
  • Collaborate across marketing and other functions to deliver consistent, high-quality event experiences.
Requirements
  • 3–5 years of experience coordinating technology trade shows or events, preferably within a B2B technology or SaaS environment.
  • Strong project management capabilities, with the ability to coordinate multiple events, stakeholders, vendors, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously.
  • Hands-on, execution-focused approach with the ability to remain organized, positive, and composed in fast-moving or high-pressure situations.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with confidence working with internal teams, senior stakeholders, and external vendors.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating vendors, negotiating logistics and pricing, and managing activities within established budgets.
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, timeliness, and follow-through.
  • A creative eye for booth design, branding, and creating engaging, on-brand experiential environments.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, accountable, and comfortable taking ownership of projects from planning through completion.
  • Experience using marketing and event technology platforms such as Salesforce, Marketo, Asana, or comparable tools.
  • Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets for expense tracking, event reporting, and data organization.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 20% within the U.S. and Canada, including occasional weekends.
  • Ability to lift and transport event materials such as booth components and boxes of collateral when required.
  • Valid passport and/or driver's license enabling cross-border travel between the U.S. and Canada.
Benefits
  • Base compensation range of $66,000–$100,000 USD, with final compensation determined by factors such as experience, expertise, role level, and location.
  • Potential performance-based bonus and equity opportunities.
  • Comprehensive benefits designed to support employee health, wellbeing, and financial security.
  • Flexible work options and an environment that supports professional growth.
  • Opportunity to work on high-impact projects within a dynamic and fast-growing B2B technology environment.
  • Career development opportunities within a rapidly expanding organization.
  • Opportunity to influence how the organization is represented at major industry events.
  • Collaborative, innovative, and mission-driven working environment.
  • Travel opportunities for industry events, regional gatherings, and team activities across the U.S. and Canada.
