PBA Lead Designer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a PBA Lead Designer based in United States.

This is a high-impact creative leadership role responsible for shaping the visual identity of a major professional sports property across digital, broadcast, and commercial channels. You will create compelling static and animated content that brings tournaments, athletes, sponsorships, and brand stories to life. The role combines hands-on design execution with visual leadership, requiring strong instincts across social-first creative, motion graphics, presentations, and broadcast design. You will work closely with marketing, social, production, and executive stakeholders while supporting fast-paced live-event workflows. You will also help build scalable templates and visual systems that maintain consistency across platforms and campaigns. This opportunity is ideal for a versatile designer who thrives in sports, media, entertainment, and high-visibility creative environments.

Accountabilities
  • Develop high-impact static and animated creative for social platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and X.
  • Design broadcast-ready graphic elements such as lower thirds, transitions, wipes, stat boards, and promotional assets.
  • Create motion graphics packages for tournament weeks, digital campaigns, and major sporting events.
  • Develop premium sales decks, sponsorship presentations, executive materials, and other commercial-facing creative.
  • Create key art and visual identity systems for major events, tournaments, and championships.
  • Establish repeatable design templates and scalable graphic systems that improve creative efficiency and consistency.
  • Maintain strong brand consistency across social, digital, broadcast, presentation, and commercial materials.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, social, production, and executive stakeholders to translate objectives into compelling visual solutions.
  • Partner with broader design teams on cross-property creative initiatives and ensure visual cohesion across brands.
  • Support live-event workflows with fast, accurate, and high-quality creative execution under tight deadlines.
  • Contribute visual leadership and creative direction across multiple platforms and campaign types.
  • Manage multiple projects and competing priorities while maintaining a high standard of design quality and attention to detail.
Requirements
  • 3–5+ years of professional graphic design experience, preferably within sports, broadcast, entertainment, media, or similarly fast-paced creative environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in social-first creative, motion graphics, broadcast design, and presentation materials.
  • Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects.
  • Demonstrated ability to create effective designs across both vertical and horizontal formats.
  • Strong understanding of typography, composition, layout, hierarchy, color, and visual identity systems.
  • Experience creating motion graphics and broadcast-oriented visual assets.
  • Ability to develop polished, presentation-ready materials for sales, sponsorship, executive, and commercial audiences.
  • Strong understanding of brand consistency and the ability to apply visual systems across multiple channels.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with creative and non-creative stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Comfortable working under live-event and rapid-turnaround conditions.
  • Strong creative judgment, attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Sports, media, or entertainment industry experience is preferred.
  • Ideally based on the U.S. East Coast, with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
