This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a LVS Solutions Technical Leader based in India.
This is a global technical leadership role focused on the integration and development of Low Voltage System (LVS) solutions for complex industrial and customer applications.
You will act as a technical authority, shaping standardized solutions and supporting opportunities from early commercial discussions through project execution.
The role combines engineering expertise, supplier coordination, technical risk management, and customer engagement in an international environment.
You will work closely with sales, marketing, tendering, engineering, data center teams, factories, and external technical partners.
A key focus will be building engineering capabilities, optimizing processes, and sharing technical best practices across the global organization.
The position offers significant influence over solution strategy, technical standards, and complex project decisions.
It is a hybrid, full-time opportunity suited to an experienced engineering leader comfortable operating across functions and geographies.
- Lead the mechanical systems engineering function in developing LVS solutions engineering capabilities through process optimization, training, best-practice development, and lessons-learned sharing.
- Drive global standardization and optimization of LVS solution offerings for international customers, ensuring consistency, quality, and scalability.
- Establish and monitor technical interfaces, processes, and standards with global solution suppliers, including internal business units and third-party partners.
- Provide technical risk assessments and contribute to risk management for global LVS projects, supporting informed business and engineering decisions.
- Participate in critical technical discussions and provide expert input for strategic decisions involving complex solutions and customer requirements.
- Provide technical consultation to sales and marketing teams to support market opportunities, bids, and customer engagement.
- Act as a primary technical point of contact for customers on LVS solutions, translating technical requirements into viable engineering approaches.
- Support tendering and engineering teams in assessing and responding to complex technical requirements.
- Collaborate with data center teams, factory engineering teams, and other organizational units to align technical standards and project requirements.
- Coordinate with internal and external technical suppliers to ensure effective system integration and resolution of technical interfaces.
- Contribute to market and competitor intelligence in collaboration with commercial teams.
- Promote cross-functional and cross-organizational collaboration while influencing stakeholders effectively without direct reporting authority.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- More than 10 years of relevant professional experience in a comparable engineering, solutions, or technical leadership environment.
- Strong expertise in low-voltage switchgear products, technical standardization, and applicable IEC standards.
- Hands-on knowledge of e-house, skid, enclosure, or integrated low-voltage system design.
- Experience with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) and sheet-metal structural design.
- Strong technical understanding of LVS solutions integration and the ability to manage interfaces across multiple engineering disciplines and suppliers.
- Demonstrated risk management capabilities and sound technical judgment when assessing complex projects.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to influence and align teams without direct authority.
- Excellent English communication skills; additional foreign-language proficiency is an advantage.
- Knowledge of busduct and UPS systems is desirable, as is experience with electrical system analyses such as selectivity, power-loss calculations, and inter-arc calculations.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across international teams, customers, suppliers, sales, engineering, and other business functions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, consulting, and decision-making capabilities, combined with a practical and customer-focused approach.
