Job Description

Content Creator

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Content Creator based in the United States.

This role offers the opportunity to shape the voice of an innovative organization operating at the intersection of science, technology, and laboratory automation.
You will lead the creation and distribution of high-quality content that builds thought leadership and strengthens engagement with scientific and technical audiences.
The position combines strategic content marketing with hands-on writing, editing, website management, and content production.
You will translate complex scientific and technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives without compromising accuracy or credibility.
Working closely with scientists, engineers, product teams, and leadership, you will develop content that supports brand awareness, demand generation, and sales enablement.
The role also provides the opportunity to manage external creative partners and continuously optimize content based on performance and audience engagement.

Accountabilities
  • Own and manage the content marketing calendar, aligning content production with brand, demand generation, and sales enablement priorities.
  • Lead the structure, content, and ongoing optimization of the company website, ensuring it is organized, on-brand, user-friendly, and conversion-focused.
  • Write, edit, and oversee the production of blog posts, articles, case studies, landing pages, and other web content for scientific and technical audiences.
  • Research, develop, and publish authoritative white papers, technical reports, and other long-form resources demonstrating scientific rigor and product capabilities.
  • Develop thought leadership content, including bylines, opinion pieces, and long-form assets, in collaboration with subject-matter experts, scientists, and senior leadership.
  • Partner with product, science, and engineering teams to transform complex technical and scientific concepts into accessible and compelling stories.
  • Coordinate freelance writers, designers, agencies, and other external partners when additional production support is required.
  • Monitor content performance across metrics such as traffic, engagement, and pipeline influence, using insights to improve future content strategies and execution.
  • Ensure all published materials meet high standards of scientific accuracy, technical credibility, consistency, and brand quality.
Requirements
  • 2–5+ years of professional experience in content marketing, with demonstrated ownership of content initiatives from strategy and creation through publication and optimization.
  • Hands-on experience managing website content and structure, with confidence working in a CMS and understanding principles of UX, information architecture, and on-page content.
  • Proven experience creating and publishing white papers, technical reports, thought leadership pieces, or other authoritative content for technical or scientific audiences.
  • A degree or practical background in chemistry, life sciences, or a related scientific discipline is strongly preferred.
  • Previous experience working within a technical or scientific environment, such as biotechnology, laboratory automation, life sciences, pharmaceuticals, or an R&D-focused organization.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling abilities, with the capacity to make complex scientific and technical subjects engaging and understandable without oversimplifying them.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple content initiatives, stakeholders, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Comfortable collaborating directly with scientists, engineers, and technical leaders to source information, validate technical details, and develop credible content.
  • Familiarity with SEO principles and marketing analytics tools is a plus.
  • Experience with graphic design or collaborating closely with design teams on visual content is a plus.
  • Experience in cloud laboratories, lab automation, biotech, pharmaceutical, or life sciences marketing is advantageous.
Benefits
  • Opportunity to contribute to content strategy within a highly technical and science-driven environment.
  • Broad ownership across content marketing, website strategy, thought leadership, technical communications, and performance optimization.
  • Close collaboration with scientists, engineers, product specialists, and technical leadership.
  • Opportunity to build and scale a strong content program and establish thought leadership within an emerging technology space.
  • Flexibility to work across a diverse range of content formats, audiences, and strategic initiatives.
  • Exposure to advanced scientific, laboratory automation, and technology concepts.
  • Competitive compensation and benefits package, subject to the partner company's applicable employment terms and location.
