Job Title: Bar Manager______________

Summary, Role: Bar Manager responsibilities encompass inventory control, resource management, staff supervision, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Manage daily bar operations
• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for inventory control
• Recruit, train, schedule and supervise staff
• Manage budgets and financial plans and control costs
• Handle customer complaints and queries
• Maintain a high level of customer service
• Analyze reviews and feedback from customers
• Ensure staff is checking IDs to prevent underage drinking
• Drive promotional and marketing activities
• Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and all governing agencies

Requirements (KSA’s)

• Proven work experience as a Bar Manager or similar role
• Excellent understanding of various drinks, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
• Proficiency in multiple task management
• Experience in managing budgets and financial plans as well as controlling costs
• Outstanding communication and leadership skills
• Up to date with beverages trends and best practices
• Ability to manage personnel and meet financial targets
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
• Works nights and weekends as needed.

Education, certificates:

BS degree in Business Administration, Hotel/Hospitality Management or equivalent in relevant work experience.

2-5 Years in a similar role

Physical requirements:

Long periods of time looking at a computer screen, standing and walking for long periods of time, exposed to second-hand smoke, must lift up to 50 lbs.

Bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, stooping up to 50 lbs.

Flexible schedule availability for coverage- including nights and weekends
