Position Summary

The Assistant Property Manager supports the day-to-day operations of the commercial property portfolio. The role assists with tenant relations, financial reporting, lease administration, vendor onboarding/coordination, property inspections and maintenance management. Works closely with the property management team to ensure properties are well maintained, tenants receive excellent customer service and ownership objectives are achieved. Strong organizational, communication and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

· Assist with portfolio tasks such as, insurance tracking, billbacks, keys/fobs, work orders, elevator/boiler permits, inspections as needed

· Obtain bids and review contracts and proper tracking

· Utility set-ups and cancellations

· Manage vendors and invoices

· Support lease administration, renewals and tenant move-ins and move outs

· Maintain accurate property records and files

Work Environment

Role is positioned in Downtown Fort Wayne, Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm. Travel to properties may be required

Preferred Qualifications

· Brokers license required within one year of employment

· Ability to adapt quickly and willingness to help the team
