- Design and analyze structural steel and reinforced concrete systems for industrial and facility-related projects.
- Develop engineering calculations, structural analyses, and technical reports.
- Perform seismic evaluations and design in accordance with applicable codes and industry standards.
- Prepare and review structural drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
- Coordinate with civil, mechanical, electrical, process, and architectural disciplines throughout project development.
- Collaborate with BIM/CAD design teams to develop detailed engineering deliverables.
- Conduct site visits, field investigations, and structural assessments as required.
- Support construction activities by responding to RFIs, reviewing submittals, and providing technical guidance.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes, client requirements, and safety standards.
- Participate in project planning, scheduling, and quality assurance activities.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering from an accredited university
- 5–8 years of structural engineering experience within industrial, manufacturing, refinery, petrochemical, power generation, energy, or similar heavy industrial environments.
- Proven experience designing steel and concrete structures for industrial facilities.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain licensure.
- Experience supporting refinery, chemical, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, food processing, or power generation facilities.
- Knowledge of retrofit, expansion, and brownfield industrial projects.
- Strong project coordination and client communication skills.
