Associate Director of Enterprise Sales - Veterinary Software

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Associate Director of Enterprise Sales - Veterinary Software based in United States.

This role is a senior commercial leadership position focused on driving enterprise software growth across large, multi-location veterinary organizations. You will lead a high-performing team responsible for acquiring, expanding, and retaining strategic corporate accounts in a complex, multi-stakeholder sales environment. The position sits at the center of high-value enterprise deals that combine software, diagnostics, and integrated platform solutions. You will operate with strong executive presence, engaging directly with C-suite leaders, procurement teams, and operational stakeholders in large veterinary groups. This role requires both strategic leadership and hands-on deal execution across long, multi-year sales cycles. It is ideal for a commercially driven leader who thrives in complex, consultative SaaS and healthcare-adjacent environments. You will also play a key role in shaping sales strategy, process discipline, and cross-functional alignment to accelerate enterprise growth.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Enterprise Sales Account Managers responsible for enterprise veterinary software revenue across corporate and multi-location accounts.
  • Own enterprise bookings targets, driving new corporate group acquisitions, competitive conversions, and expansion across existing install bases.
  • Manage a concentrated portfolio of high-value strategic accounts, ensuring long-term growth, retention, and account expansion.
  • Oversee complex enterprise sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders including C-suite executives, procurement, legal, and operations teams.
  • Drive pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, and deal velocity in collaboration with Revenue Operations and Deal Desk functions.
  • Establish disciplined sales processes, including qualification standards, deal shaping, and contracting governance to improve execution quality.
  • Partner closely with diagnostics and corporate accounts teams to align integrated platform selling strategies across veterinary enterprise customers.
  • Support implementation and customer success alignment to ensure smooth rollouts, adoption, and long-term customer value realization.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in enterprise or complex B2B sales, with proven success managing high-value, concentrated account portfolios.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing or mentoring sales teams in high-performance, quota-driven environments.
  • Strong track record of closing complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals involving legal, procurement, and executive-level decision makers.
  • Experience selling SaaS, software, healthcare, veterinary, or similarly complex multi-location solutions strongly preferred.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise sales cycles, forecasting, pipeline management, and deal economics.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and navigate complex buying committees.
  • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-scaling environments and build structure where needed.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
Benefits:
  • Competitive base salary with performance-based quarterly and annual incentive compensation.
  • Equity participation opportunities as part of total compensation.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance starting from day one.
  • Retirement savings plan with employer matching contributions.
  • Flexible remote work arrangement supporting work-life balance.
  • Career development, training programs, and leadership advancement opportunities.
  • Additional benefits including mental health support, pet insurance, volunteer paid time off, and employee stock purchase programs.
