Job Summary

Responsible for providing professional nursing skills in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the nursing

care for assigned patients. Works collaboratively with physicians and nursing staff to ensure quality care. Demonstrates

the ability to perform a concise nursing assessment, reassess, and document the proposed revision of interventions and

desired outcomes. Responsible for documenting all nursing care in assigned patient records. Demonstrates ability to

assess patient's and/or significant other's understanding of and compliance with instructions and health care teaching.

Always maintains patient’s privacy and confidentiality of information and records. Notifies appropriate nursing and medical

staff to changes in the patient status. The RN will carry out their duties by adhering to the highest standards of ethical and

moral conduct. Acts in the best interest of Three Crosses Regional Hospital, and fully supports the mission, vision, and

values of Three Crosses Regional Hospital. The RN will have knowledge of health care systems, and have demonstrated

ability to interact, relate to, work with, and support the activities of a diverse workforce.

The RN will carry out duties by adhering to the highest standards of ethical and moral conduct, acts in the best interest of

Three Crosses Regional Hospital, and fully supports the mission, vision, and values of Three Crosses Regional Hospital.

Education and Experience:

Required: Associate’s degree in nursing (ADN) from an accredited School of Nursing ·

Preferred: BSN · Required: 1+ years of RN acute clinical care experience

Preferred: 1+ years of Intermediate Care Unit (Stepdown) experience ·

Required: Meet all Employee Health Requirement

License/Certification(s)

· Required: Current Registered Nursing License to practice in the State of NM

· Required: BLS certification

· Required: ACLS certification

· Required: Handle with care verbal

· Required: NIHSS certification

· Required: PCCN certification
