Program Manager Community Impact

Work location: 612 E. Lamar BLVD, Arlington, TX 76012 (Dallas & Kaufman County)
Work hours: Full Time (40 Hour) Days; Monday through Friday; 9:00am - 5:00pm
What You Will Do:
Manage THCI grant-making program and align with CHI to move forward strategy this includes:
Work to build and maintain networks of organizations, including:
Community-based organizations,
Communities of faith,
Other key stakeholders (Texas Health entities, government leaders and community influencers).
Oversee grant processes:
Support interested parties in the pre-award process, including request for proposal and application processes.
Manage post-award activities and provide technical assistance as needed.
Promote THCI and CHI opportunities and programs within the community to build awareness, encourage participation, and strengthen relationships with community members.
Content creation for communication assets.
Contribute to the strategic planning process based on CHNA findings.

Support Community Health Improvement system initiatives, including CHNA, Community Time Off (CTO), University Consortium, etc., by:
Coordinating, in partnership with Data Analytics team, the collection and reporting of THCI and other appropriate programmatic data for Community Hope dashboards, objectives and key results reporting and corresponding annual reports.
Initiating CTO opportunities in alignment with THCI grantees and support of strategic system-wide events.
Collaborating with community organizations that address prioritized non-medical drivers of health to promote healthy outcomes aligning with THCI programs.
Connecting strategic relationships, such as government and stakeholders with leadership.
Sharing the THCI narrative to increase visibility and relevance with active community engagement as demonstrated by regular attendance at community events, meetings, and participation in advisory committees.

In alignment with CHI regional teams, address prioritized social determinants of health through THCI region specific programs and collaborate with community resources to implement processes that promote healthy outcomes. Promote Community Hope and Community Health Improvement. 10%
Ensuring cross functional integration of THCI efforts with Community Hope, Brand Experience and other Texas Health assets as appropriate. Engage in special projects that align with Texas Health's strategic plan as assigned. 10%
What You Need:
Education
Bachelor's Degree Public Health, Health Administration, Business Administration, Nursing or relevant field. Req
Master's Degree Public Health, Health Administration, Business Administration, Nursing or relevant field.

Experience
4 Years With a Bachelor's degree - Grant making or fund raising experience desired. Experience working with executives. Req or
2 Years With a Master's degree - Grant making or fund raising experience desired. Experience working with executives. Req
Skills
Experience in community/public health program planning and implementation, grants management required, ability to demonstrate excellent judgment, attention to detail, collaborates with various positions and personnel levels within a healthcare and community setting. Strong communication and presentation skills, ability to effectively interface, influence and build alignment with individuals and multi-disciplinary teams internally and externally; comfortable with working in a dynamic environment, managing multiple projects.
