About the role
As our School Relationships Manager in UAE, you will be the point of contact with key customers, and overall owner of those customer relationships. You will be the ‘face’ of the Schools team.
Your role will involve overseeing a portfolio of big accounts and target customers by using solution-led marketing techniques to help OUP UK generate new business. You will build strong relationships with school leaders and business owners, while further developing the existing relationships.
You will work closely with the International Schools and Qualifications Manager, Head of Global Partnerships, Marketing, Strategic Account Managers and Professional Development leads to help devise and implement key account strategy across the territory.
About you
We are seeking a self-motivated, commercially driven relationship manager with a proven track record of managing key accounts, engaging senior stakeholders, and delivering solution-led approaches to meet and exceed targets. Ideally, you’ll have experience within the education sector.
Key qualifications and skills include:
- A university degree is required.
- Fluency and proficiency in English is required.
- Strong ability to understand customer needs and develop tailored, solution-based proposals.
- Experience monitoring market trends and providing regular competitor feedback.
- Ability to contribute to territory strategy and key account planning.
- Strong problem-solving and advisory capability.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency with technology.
Additionally, you will have strong presentation and training skills, and excellent organizational abilities.
