This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. Lifecycle Marketing Specialist based in United States.

This role sits at the center of customer engagement and revenue growth, responsible for designing and executing multi-channel lifecycle marketing programs that drive activation, retention, and long-term value. You will build and optimize customer journeys across email, push, in-app, and in-account messaging, using a modern marketing automation platform in a fast-paced fintech environment. The position blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution, requiring strong technical fluency and a customer-first mindset. You will collaborate closely with analytics, product, compliance, and engineering teams to deliver personalized, data-driven campaigns. A key part of your impact will come from continuously testing, refining, and scaling lifecycle journeys that directly influence business outcomes. This is a highly cross-functional role where precision, creativity, and ownership are essential.

Accountabilities:
  • Own the end-to-end execution of lifecycle marketing campaigns, including gathering requirements, building briefs, and launching multi-channel campaigns aligned with the content calendar.
  • Design and implement complex customer journeys using a modern marketing automation platform (e.g., Iterable or similar), including experiments, conditional logic, and event-driven workflows.
  • Build, code, and QA responsive email campaigns using HTML/CSS, ensuring accuracy across clients and leveraging templates, snippets, and personalization logic.
  • Partner with analytics, product, and marketing teams to translate business requirements into scalable lifecycle programs and continuously optimize performance.
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance stakeholders to ensure all messaging adheres to regulatory and brand standards.
  • Work with technical teams to validate API event payloads, JSON structures, and webhook integrations for campaign accuracy.
  • Monitor campaign performance, send volumes, and engagement metrics to identify optimization opportunities and report insights.
  • Apply lifecycle marketing best practices and experimentation frameworks to improve conversion, retention, and customer engagement.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on lifecycle strategy, automation capabilities, and messaging personalization.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in lifecycle marketing, including direct execution of email and multi-channel campaigns (required).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience building and managing customer journeys in platforms such as Iterable, Braze, SFMC, or Marketo.
  • Strong expertise in email development, including HTML/CSS, responsive design, and cross-client QA using tools such as Litmus or Email on Acid.
  • Solid understanding of A/B testing methodologies and ability to translate testing strategies into scalable campaign designs.
  • Working knowledge of API events, webhooks, and JSON data structures in marketing automation contexts.
  • Strong grasp of lifecycle marketing principles, segmentation, and customer journey optimization.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with minimal supervision.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret campaign performance data and act on insights.
  • Experience with fintech or regulated industries is a plus.
  • Familiarity with event-driven marketing architectures and advanced personalization is an advantage.
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary range of $91,000 – $144,000 annually, plus bonus eligibility.
  • Hybrid work model with 2 days per week in office and flexible remote arrangements.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with 5% company match.
  • Flexible PTO, paid parental leave, and caregiver support programs.
  • Annual wellness allowance and holistic well-being resources.
  • Professional development support including Udemy access, certifications, and training programs.
  • Additional lifestyle benefits such as childcare assistance, pet insurance, and employee discounts.
  • Inclusive and mission-driven culture focused on financial well-being and equal opportunity.
