Nelbud is hiring Commercial Hood Cleaning Technicians to clean and maintain commercial kitchen exhaust systems for restaurants and facilities throughout the Columbus area.

This is a physically demanding, overnight field position involving pressure washing, ladder climbing, rooftop work, equipment setup, and industrial cleaning. No hood cleaning experience is required. We provide paid, hands-on training.

New technicians begin in our structured 30-60-90 Day KEC Step Program, where you'll build technical skills and work toward advancement opportunities and additional hourly compensation as you complete training, testing, and performance milestones.

Shift start times vary based on customer schedules, typically beginning between 6:00 PM and midnight.

What You'll Do

• Clean commercial kitchen exhaust systems, including hoods, ductwork, and exhaust fans
• Remove grease buildup using pressure washers and specialized cleaning equipment
• Work on rooftops, ladders, and around commercial kitchen equipment
• Travel to customer locations as part of a field-based crew
• Protect customer work areas and maintain a clean jobsite
• Follow company safety procedures and standards
• Deliver professional, dependable service to our customers

What We're Looking For

Experience That Transfers Well

Hood cleaning experience is not required. Experience in construction, landscaping, pressure washing, roofing, HVAC, duct cleaning, pest control, restoration, manufacturing, warehouse work, military service, or other physically demanding work can translate well to this role.
