- Work hours: Full-time, 40 hours, Remote
- Travel: up to 20% local in-person meetings at assigned office location or at THR facility ( mileage reimbursement provided. per THR policy )

- Revenue Integrity supports 29 hospitals and approximately 1,300 providers
- Collaborative and interactive remote team
Here's What You Need:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (required)
- 3 years' experience in Charge Capture for Drug Administration/Hydration Procedures, Emergency Department, Operating Room Services, Anesthesia, Pain Procedures, Gastroenterology/Endoscopy Services, or Cardiovascular/Interventional Radiology Services (required)
- 1 year Epic EMR (preferred)
- Knowledge of CPTs/HCPCS, charge capture and associated charging workflows, as well as charge reconciliation.
- Local Candidates (highly preferred).
- Working knowledge of laws and regulations pertaining to healthcare charge capture, billing, and compliance.
- Demonstrate intrapersonal skills, a positive demeanor, professional skills/approach, good verbal and written communication skills, as well as initiative and self-motivation.
- Must be detail oriented and have basic analytical skills to resolve charge related issues.
- Possess ability to work independently, proactively with limited supervision and also as a team player when called upon.
- MS Office including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
What You Will Do:
Charge Capture and Reconciliation
- Accurately post charges for assigned clinical service lines based on review of clinical documentation, physician orders, results, and other charge source inputs.
- Perform charge reconciliation activities to identify and correct missing, duplicate, or inaccurate charges
- Review and resolve assigned system work queues and edits to support timely claim generation and billing readiness.
- Apply established charging guidelines, system workflows, and organizational standards during all charge capture activities.
- Ensure completeness and timeliness of charge posting in accordance with defined service level expectations.
- Execute charge capture activities in compliance with applicable federal and state regulations, payer requirements, and internal guidelines and policies.
- Support internal audit readiness by maintaining accurate and complete documentation of charge-related activities.
Documentation and Charge Capture Improvement
- Identify, document, and communicate discrepancies, errors, operational challenges, root cause observations, and trend identification encountered during charge capture processes.
- Escalate complex, high-risk, or systemic issues to leader for further investigation and resolution
- Participate in issue resolution activities as directed, including rebill and correction workflows.
- Respond to routine inquiries from clinical and operational stakeholders related to charge capture processes and workflows.
- Support onboarding activities, workflow updates, and system changes impacting assigned service lines
- Reinforce correct application of established workflows and procedures.
- Adhere to standardized workflows designed to promote consistency across service lines.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and providing feedback
- Support implementation of workflow updates and optimization efforts.
- Support revenue leakage identification by reporting and escalating trends for further review and analysis.
