Job Description

Description:

EU Luxury Portfolio Sales Manager

Company: Composition Brands
Portfolio: La Cornue and AGA
Reports to: Director of Sales, Luxury Portfolio
Location: Remote within the assigned geographic territory
Travel: Approximately 50%, including overnight and occasional weekend travel

Role Purpose

The EU Luxury Portfolio Sales Manager builds influential relationships across the European luxury design community to increase product specification, generate qualified project opportunities, and drive revenue through the dealer network.

This role serves as a trusted commercial and brand partner to designers, architects, custom home builders, kitchen studios, showrooms, and dealers. The Sales Manager combines luxury-market credibility, consultative selling, project coordination, and disciplined pipeline management to expand La Cornue and AGA's reach.

First-Year Priorities

The ideal candidate is a polished, self-directed luxury sales professional who is equally comfortable discussing design intent with an architect, product details with a kitchen specialist, and commercial opportunities with a dealer.

During the first year, this person will focus on:

  • Building and activating relationships within the architecture and design community.
  • Converting inbound interest into qualified luxury project opportunities.
  • Increasing engagement in the Designer Program.
  • Developing a visible, actionable pipeline of luxury residential projects.
  • Supporting revenue growth through the company’s dealer network.

Responisibilities

1. Architecture and Design Community Development

  • Build trusted relationships with luxury designers, architects, custom home builders, kitchen studios, and other trade professionals who influence product selection.
  • Identify high-value industry relationships and develop focused engagement plans.
  • Position La Cornue and AGA as preferred brands for appropriate luxury residential projects.
  • Create ongoing opportunities for education, collaboration, and product specification.
  • Build long-term advocacy rather than relying only on transactional sales activity.

2. Luxury Project Pipeline

  • Develop strategic partnerships that produce qualified project opportunities and retail sales through the dealer network.
  • Manage opportunities from initial design concept through order placement.
  • Maintain visibility into project stage, expected timing, product interest, decision-makers, dealer involvement, and required follow-up.
  • Coordinate with District Sales Managers, showroom teams, dealer sales associates, and builder sales specialists.
  • Communicate consistently with internal and external partners throughout the project lifecycle.

3. Lead Conversion and Dealer Enablement

  • Respond to and qualify inbound luxury leads within established service expectations.
  • Connect qualified prospects and trade professionals with the appropriate dealer or showroom resource.
  • Support dealers in converting product interest into orders without displacing the dealer’s customer relationship.
  • Identify breakdowns in lead follow-up, product knowledge, showroom readiness, or customer experience.
  • Strengthen coordination between trade influencers and the dealer network.

4. Designer Program Growth

  • Recruit appropriate designers and trade professionals into the Designer Program.
  • Keep program members informed, engaged, and connected to dealer and showroom resources.
  • Coordinate program communications, resources, education, and relationship-building activities.
  • Monitor membership growth and engagement.
  • Use feedback from program participants to recommend improvements.

5. Brand and Product Expertise

  • Serve as a product and brand expert for La Cornue and AGA.
  • Educate trade partners on brand heritage, market positioning, product features, and specification opportunities.
  • Communicate each brand's distinctive value in a credible, polished, and technically accurate manner.
  • Help partners navigate product selection and specification considerations.
  • Maintain current knowledge of portfolio changes, supporting materials, and market developments.

6. Trade Education and Market Engagement

  • Plan and host trade events, continuing-education programs, brand-awareness initiatives, and networking opportunities.
  • Represent Composition Brands at trade shows, industry events, ASID and NKBA functions, and luxury-design networking events.
  • Build an engagement calendar aligned with relationship-development and pipeline priorities.
  • Deliver effective presentations and product education both virtually and in person.
  • Follow up on event-generated opportunities and translate activity into measurable commercial outcomes.

7. CRM, Reporting, and Market Intelligence

  • Maintain timely and accurate CRM records.
  • Track luxury opportunities, Designer Program growth, engagement activities, and key performance measures.
  • Use reporting insights to build action plans and prioritize relationships and opportunities.
  • Provide visibility into pipeline health, market activity, competitive developments, and barriers to growth.
  • Maintain disciplined follow-up and accurate opportunity information.

8. Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Partner with Brand, Sales, showroom, and dealer stakeholders to support a consistent luxury-client experience.
  • Review and validate sales tools, product materials, and Designer Program resources.
  • Provide field feedback to improve the relevance and effectiveness of commercial materials.
  • Coordinate across functions to resolve issues affecting trade partners, dealers, or active projects.
  • Represent market needs clearly while supporting broader portfolio priorities.

Success Measures

  • Qualified project pipeline value and progression.
  • Revenue generated through influenced luxury projects.
  • Conversion of qualified inbound leads.
  • Number and value of opportunities reaching product specification and order placement.
  • Forecast accuracy and pipeline quality.

Relationship Development

  • Growth in active relationships with priority designers, architects, builders, studios, and trade partners.
  • Number of new project opportunities generated through trade relationships.
  • Depth and quality of engagement with priority accounts and influencers.
  • Repeat specifications and referrals from established partners.

Designer Program

  • Growth in qualified Designer Program membership.
  • Member participation and ongoing engagement.
  • Project opportunities and dealer referrals generated through the program.
  • Quality and timeliness of program follow-up.

Market Activation

  • Effectiveness of CEUs, trade events, networking activities, and brand presentations.
  • Qualified opportunities generated from market engagement.
  • Follow-up completion and conversion following events.
  • Participation in priority industry organizations and markets.

Execution Discipline

  • CRM accuracy and timeliness.
  • Project follow-through from concept to order.
  • Responsiveness to inbound demand and partner requests.
  • Quality of coordination with dealers, showrooms, District Sales Managers, and internal teams.
Requirements:
