Job Description

Troy Bank & Trust is seeking a customer-focused and detail-oriented Treasury Services Sales Specialist, to support Treasury Management and business clients. This role serves as an essential resource for both existing and prospective customers by identifying needs, providing product support, and delivering treasury solutions that help businesses manage their daily financial operations more effectively.

The ideal candidate will enjoy building relationships, solving problems, and collaborating with internal teams to provide exceptional customer experience. This position offers an opportunity to become a trusted partner to customers while helping grow and strengthen the bank's Treasury Management services.


What You’ll Do

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Deliver exceptional customer service to internal and external customers by taking ownership of requests and following through to resolution.Support Treasury Management with sales and relationship-building activities.Respond to customer inquiries regarding treasury products, account services, and banking solutions while adhering to privacy and regulatory requirements.Identify opportunities to deepen customer relationships by recommending Treasury Management products and services that meet business needs.Research and communicate product information to customers and team members.Partner with Commercial Banking teams and Branch Managers to support client acquisition and retention efforts.Assist with Treasury Management and branch team training initiatives.Answer and direct incoming phone calls, take messages, and provide information when appropriate.Support customers with Merchant Services inquiries and facilitate connections with the appropriate resources.Assist customers with credit card services, including online system navigation and account support.Maintain strong product knowledge and stay informed on Treasury Management offerings and banking technology.Perform additional duties as assigned by management.


Qualifications

Required

High school diploma or equivalent.Minimum of one year of sales, customer service, client support, or related experience.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and basic computer systems.Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Preferred

Associate's degree, bachelor's degree, or other post-secondary education.Banking, financial services, treasury management, or business-to-business sales experience.

Schedule

Must work in person/office.This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, typically between: Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.Occasional overtime may be required and must be approved by management.

Sitting, standing, and walking for extended periodsFrequent use of a computer, keyboard, and office equipmentVisual acuity to review documents and operate technologyOccasional bending, stooping, kneeling, or reachingLifting, carrying, pushing, or moving items up to 25 pounds
