Position Title: Marketing Co-op

Weekly Hours: Up to 40 hours per week
Compensation: $15.00/hour for undergraduate students; $18.00/hour for graduate students
Work Duration: July 2026 - December 2026 and January 2027 - June 2027

Position Overview
The MassArt Marketing Co-op supports the Marketing and Communications Office at MassArt, contributing to the promotion of the college's programs, events, and creative community. This role offers hands-on experience in digital content management, social media, and administrative coordination within a dynamic, creative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Update and manage digital video screens in MassArt lobby spaces, ensuring timely and visually engaging promotion of events and campus news
  • Assist with the creation and scheduling of content for MassArt's social media platforms, including drafting posts and sourcing images
  • Organize and manage photo assets, including cataloging, tagging, and maintaining image libraries for easy access and use
  • Provide administrative support, including processing invoices, reconciling credit card statements, and assisting with purchase orders
  • Support marketing and PR campaigns and efforts by contributing ideas and content aligned with the college's brand and voice
  • Collaborate with marketing staff on various projects as needed

Qualifications

  • Strong interest in marketing, communications, or the arts
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Basic proficiency in Google Workspace; experience with design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) is a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

  • Develop skills in digital content creation and campaign support
  • Learn administrative processes related to budgeting and operations
  • Build a portfolio of creative and marketing work
