This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior People Business Partner - GTM based in the United States.
This fully remote role partners closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and other go-to-market leaders during a period of significant organizational growth. You will help translate business priorities into effective people strategies, organizational decisions, and leadership practices. The position combines strategic HR partnership with hands-on ownership of people programs and employee lifecycle processes. You will help shape organizational design, workforce planning, talent development, performance management, and retention strategies. As a trusted advisor to senior leaders and managers, you will provide practical guidance while constructively challenging decisions when needed. This is an opportunity to help build scalable people practices and strengthen the organization as it enters its next stage of growth.
- Partner closely with GTM leaders across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and other customer-facing functions on organizational, talent, and leadership priorities.
- Develop a strong understanding of GTM strategy and translate business objectives into practical people and organizational decisions.
- Build and continuously improve people practices, including onboarding, manager routines, performance processes, employee development, and broader employee lifecycle programs.
- Support the growth and evolution of the GTM organization through organizational design, workforce planning, team structures, and evolving role requirements.
- Coach senior leaders and managers, providing candid feedback, practical guidance, and support to strengthen leadership effectiveness.
- Lead and support performance and talent initiatives, including employee development, retention, succession planning, and performance management.
- Identify organizational challenges and people-related risks early, developing practical solutions that improve team effectiveness and employee experience.
- Partner with leaders to address employee relations matters and navigate complex people decisions with sound judgment.
- Help establish scalable HR processes and practices that can evolve with a rapidly growing technology organization.
- Serve as a trusted thought partner who knows when to support, challenge, and push for stronger business and people outcomes.
- Operate with a high degree of ownership and independence while balancing strategic priorities with the day-to-day needs of employees and managers.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in an HR Business Partner or People Business Partner role.
- Meaningful experience partnering with go-to-market organizations, including Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, or comparable customer-facing teams.
- Experience supporting senior GTM leaders within a fast-growing technology company.
- Experience in the cybersecurity industry is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of how GTM organizations operate, scale, and evolve through different stages of growth.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to connect people strategies and organizational decisions to broader business objectives.
- Demonstrated experience with organizational design, workforce planning, performance management, talent planning, succession planning, and employee relations.
- Strong leadership coaching and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with senior executives and managers.
- Hands-on, high-ownership approach with the ability to operate independently and effectively in a fast-moving environment.
- Comfort working through ambiguity and building people programs and processes from the ground up.
- Strong judgment, communication, problem-solving, and influencing skills.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with practical execution and close attention to employee and manager needs.
