NeoGenomics has an opening for an Inside Sales Representative who wants to continue to learn in order to allow our company to grow. The ideal candidate will be located remote in the US.

Position Summary

The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) is an office-based or remote position reporting to the Director, Inside Sales that sells NeoGenomics' full portfolio of oncology diagnostic testing services to specialty and current Tier D customers. The ISR is responsible for contacting current customers or prospects via phone, email, or teleconferencing to present NeoGenomics' oncology diagnostic testing capabilities. The ISR is responsible for working on a designated account list and identifying new opportunities through cold calling, attending trade shows, or through mailing lists. The ISR must use approved tools and resources for product promotion that will be delivered through virtual platforms.

Core Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement territory management, planning and execution for target accounts
  • Seamlessly integrate with field sales, providing synergies within accounts to include Community, IDN, and Academic Centers
  • Deliver growth strategies through targeted engagement in a virtual setting
  • Coordinate internal and external surround sound coordination to optimize customer experience
  • Utilize deep clinical acumen to support pathology and oncology customer engagement
  • Support corporate objectives and highlight the delivery of key selling messages and provide a high level of service for customers
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of company products and services to align customer and patient needs to NeoGenomics products
  • Articulate NeoGenomics value proposition
  • Build and manage client relationships with key buyers and influencers
  • Identify, negotiate and close opportunities
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including Customer Success, overlay roles, and field sales teams
Experience, Education and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree; preferably in Business, Marketing, or Life Sciences
  • 3+ years of experience
  • Previous Pathology and Oncology experience preferred
  • Virtual engagement skills required
  • Strong closing skills, prior attendance at formal sales training courses a plus
  • Strong business acumen
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills at all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated record of achievement in a prior sales position preferred
  • Proven oral, written, telephone and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of clinical and/or laboratory market environment and products
  • Ability to learn and retain product specific information and utilize to position the features and benefits to customers
  • Ability to work under deadline pressure and extra hours if needed on assignments
  • Proficient with MS Office programs
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Valid driver's license for state of residence required
Travel Required:

Ability to travel as required by role (up to 10-15% of the time). Some overnight travel may be required



The Inside Sales focus specializes in selling by inbound and / or outbound telephone or electronic means to new and / or existing customers or channel partners. May cold call, qualify and follow up leads. Applies technical knowledge. May manage large, complex territories and / or products. Minimal business travel or work outside office. This role involves developing as a professional contributor, handling moderately complex work with judgment applied within established guidelines, and contributing to team or project outcomes.
