About the role

As a Billing Operations Specialist in Alpharetta, GA, you’ll help ensure accurate, timely and contractually compliant customer billing across eight product lines. This is a full-time position connecting Customer Advocacy, Renewals, Sales, Revenue, Finance and Collections while supporting approximately 750 customer invoices each month. Your work will protect revenue, support cash collection and maintain accurate customer billing and asset information.

Key Responsibilities

• Review contracts and renewals to validate invoice accuracy before billing
• Process customer invoices, credits, rebills and multiple types of decommissions
• Support cash application, account reconciliation and billing dispute resolution
• Maintain accurate customer billing, contract, renewal and asset information
• Resolve billing discrepancies and protect revenue through timely adjustments

About you

You bring accountability, sound judgment and strong attention to detail to customer billing operations. You can interpret contractual information, identify discrepancies across systems and determine appropriate corrective action. You are comfortable working across teams and managing responsibilities where accuracy, timely resolution and quality control are essential.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of billing, accounting or finance experience
• Experience reviewing contracts and validating renewal information against billing requirements
• Experience processing credits, rebills, decommissions and billing adjustments
• Experience reconciling accounts and resolving billing discrepancies
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail

To be ahead of the pack, you might have:

• Experience working with Sage Intacct
• Experience working with Salesforce
• Background including a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field
